My Valentine

It was Romantic. With a capital R! Lol. Wasn't expecting much since Vin said that his reservation was cancelled or something for some reason or another. So anyway, I would have settled for a nice quiet dinner somewhere, just the two of us. Another reason why I didn't think he'd plan anything else was because I called him after class and this is roughly how the conversation went:

Jo : Class just ended. Do you have any idea what are we gonna do tonight?
Vin: Nothing in mind yet..
Jo : Oh ok. But I need to know if I should go home and get changed.
Vin: What are you wearing?
Jo : Tank top & shorts
Vin: Like that cannot already.. I think you better change.
Jo : (started to suspect that something was up his sleeve) Oh ok.. So I'll wear a... Dress?
Vin: Just be simple. Okay, gotta get back to work. Love.
Jo : Okay, muacks.

I reluctantly hung up the phone with the biggest headache ever. You'd have a headache too if you were in my shoes. I mean.. He said we had no plans. Then he said I should dress up. But I shouldn't do it to the nines.. Sigh. And bare in mind that he is the biggest critic ever..!!

BUT! I would never ever trade last night for anything else in the world. Think, SKY Bar in Trader's Hotel. Think, flower petals on windows and tables. Think of the twin towers behind you. Think, a bouquet of flowers, candles, and champagne. Okay, now stop thinking!

And, we were chatting the night away. Which was extra special! I mean, what so special about chatting the night away right ? This is because you don't know that Vin has a certain quota in using his mouth to talk. Once that quota is fulfilled, he'll just shut up. Unless he's had a lot to drink or when he's really full. Thankfully, it starts from zero the next morning. Anyway..
