One Perfect Day

Sometime after SPM, 2003.

We were out shopping for the perfect dress, handbag, make-up, shoes, jewelleries because prom was just around the corner. We were everywhere, from Times Square to Sungei Wang, Pyramid to 1 Utama and Midvalley, we were out every other day because none of us were prepared yet. Maybe all that shopping really helped our friendship blossom. I suppose back in school we were already quite close, but that was school. Hey, we didn't really see each other much after school hours. Unless of course we went to tuition together, as was the case for Huey Ting and I. So we were NOT that close, if I have to say so myself.

Anyway, one fine day when we were in Times Square (and we were stalked by some Rempits, mind you!), there was this exhibition in the concourse area and they were promoting this photoshoot thing for brides-to-be. And it was then that we somehow decided to do it, after the last of us 6 girlfriends turn 21.

23rd of December, 2007.

I had a photoshoot session with some of my greatest girl friends. It was like nothing I've ever experienced before. We were all over the place.

6 am: Wake up call.

630: Huey Ting picked me up, and we were already late!

645: Reached Wai Teng's place and gave everyone a good morning kiss and rushed to fight for the mirrors to put our make-up on & dress up, not an easy task! Imagine 5 girls crammed in one bathroom. It was like a catfight, make up all over the place, clothes all over the bed, wet nail polishes and fake eye lashes!

730: The make-up artist came in the touch us all up.

8am: Went to our high school, which changed tremendously, mind you.. Had our pictures taken. Make-up began to smudge after 15 minutes!

9 smtg: Went to a park, had our pictures taken

11 smtg: Lunch at McDees

12 noon: Went to 'shop' in Veronica's Closet, the poor lady working there must have been having a fit in silent because of all the riot we were causing. Ahh, it's all in the name of fun. She's Wuen Yar's friend anyway..

2 smtg: Moved on to Bangsar Shopping Centre and had tea..

4 smtg: Went to this place with a wonderful landscape, somewhere in Bangsar too.. and had a blast lying down on the grass.

6 smtg: Had an early start on dinner. Actually, I think we had our dinner at 8.. The entire time was dedicated to being pretty and taking pictures. Oh gosh, now i really sound like a camwhore.

9 smtg: Went back to Wai Teng's place, took our showers and went to Leo's for a drink..

In conclusion, one hell of a tiring day. All in the name of beauty, friendship and memories!
